Spring Picnic and Fly Fishing Fair

Join us for MDTU’s annual Spring Membership Picnic. Expanded this year to include workshops, vendors, and swap and sale.

Bring a covered dish – potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, green salads always welcome – dessert or you own cook-out specialty. Hot Dogs and Soda provided by MDTU.  This is a great opportunity to meet fellow fly fishers, find a fishing buddy, trade some unused gear or pick up some pointers on casting and fishing techniques.

Come out and help make this the first of many Fly Fishing Fairs to come!!!

The second annual Restoration Run was a great event. The weather was wonderful and we were able to raise, with help from our sponsors, around $8,000 which will be used for restoration efforts in the Jones Falls stream and other area watersheds. We are already looking forward to next year’s race and hope to continue our growth. It is with our event that we are able to tell our story to so many people that would not ordinarily be exposed.
